Doda

Opposite the statue of the worker carrying a book inscribed "Marx, Engels, Lenin" was this advert. It is for a reality TV show called "Doda. Twelve steps to love". I found this an entertaining contrast!

A statue on the side of the Palace of Culture in Warsaw. The "worker" carries a book inscribed "Marx, Engels, Lenin". Subtle, not, but a nice example of Soviet art.

Water tower in the Saxon Gardens

This is a water tower built in 1854 to provide for the Saxon Gardens in Warsaw. It is modelled after the Temple of Vesta in Tivoli.

Triangular temple

The triangular temple at Verulamium was excavated by Tessa Wheeler in the 1930s. A few weeks ago I helped Verulamium Museum staff outline the building in paint. I then videoed it using my DJI Mini 4 Pro drone.
