It could be Spitbank fort, now privately owned and was being run as a luxury hotel.
I look at the container ships and am blown away by the sheer size of them.

I'm pretty sure it's Horse Sands Fort James.......currently for sale if you have the odd million quid or so to spare..!!

These container ships are getting bigger and bigger, and more automated, with fewer crew.......and according to the news they keep "losing" their containers at sea......which is not good.

I hope you've had a good start to the weekend mate........it's supposed to be getting warmer from tomorrow (Sunday).

You could well be right about it being Horse sand fort.
I have seen some news reports about the containers being washed up locally, some containing bananas and some with avocados!!

I've seen the news about the missing containers........I hope they all get traced and that none of them do any damage to passing ships!

Schitterende opname, Keith. Jij hebt gelijk, dit is Horse Sands Forts. Op Youtube staat een mooi filmpje van 40 minuten, dat helemaal in het fort is gemaakt 5 jaar geleden. Het is een totale puinhoop en er ligt veel, puin en rotzooi, maar is wel interessant, maar ik zou er geen 100 £ voor over hebben.

Glad you like it Frans..........there are several of these forts along the coast here. I think they're all in private ownership now. I'm pretty sure you could buy one if you have a few million pounds to spare :-))
