Little Egret
Spotted this Little Egret hunting in the shallow waters around Hayling Island, during a walk this morning.
There are a couple more shots in the PiPs if you have time to look.
All the shots are cropped as I no longer have a long telephoto lens (it's too heavy to carry), but I'm quite happy with them.

Well done Keith.
Keith Burton club has replied to Jaap van 't Veen clubAll the best TOZ
Keith Burton club has replied to TOZ clubMy "wildlife" lens was a 100-400mm zoom........but it weighed a ton and I rarely carried it. I eventually traded it in for another lens!
Keith Burton club has replied to Don Sutherland clubKeith Burton club has replied to Richard Nuttall clubThis particular lens/camera combination produce excellent quality images, which helps when you need to crop!
Wünsche noch einen schönen Abend, liebe Grüße Güni :))
Keith Burton club has replied to Günter Klaus clubGlad you like this little collection Güni............and thank you for your kind comments as always.
The little duckling is actually a black-headed Gull :-)
I hope you've had a good day and are looking forward to a nice evening. Best wishes, Keith.

Keith Burton club has replied to Colin Ashcroft clubKeith Burton club has replied to Ajophotog clubYes, I remember when they were quite rare..!!
Keith Burton club has replied to Peter Castell clubI also have the 12-40 f2.8 Pro lens (the MkI) and I have two 40-150 lenses......the f2.8 Pro which is large and quite heavy and the f4 Pro, which is much lighter and compact.
I also use a 12-100 f4 Pro, which is great for when I just want to carry a camera and one lens.
Peter Castell club has replied to Keith Burton clubKeith Burton club has replied to Peter Castell clubI remember being able to borrow Olympus kit..........but I don't think anywhere does that now.......sadly!
I've never used the old legacy lenses and most of them require you to use manual focus, and my eyes are not up to that nowadays :-)))

I do miss it though!
I like the Pips too, especially the first showing the egret in company of a seagull.
Keith Burton club has replied to Adele clubI invite you for Group:
Keith Burton club has replied to J.Garcia club(You seem to have forgotten to add the name of the group you were going to invite me to).
A nice place for morning walks!
Keith Burton club has replied to Jean-Paul clubYes, the walk follows the route of a railway line that ceased to exist in the late 1960's. It has been converted into an accessible footpath.
Keith Burton club has replied to Eunice Perkins clubKeith Burton club has replied to Ed Letts clubMy camera has a built in digital 2 x converter...........but it's pretty rubbish and cropping gets better quality!
I almost no longer used it because of the weight…
Keith Burton club has replied to Xata clubI was sad when I had to move mine on, as I like shooting wildlife, but it is what it is...........I'm getting old :-)))
Lange Teleobjektive sind schwer. Aber ich gebe mein 100-400 mm nicht her, denn es ist mein Lieblingsobjektiv.
Keith Burton club has replied to trester88 clubI got to the stage where I wasn't taking the lens out because of its weight, so it was really a waste of time keeping it..!!
