With all this miserable, grey weather we've been having, I've hardly taken any photos lately. So I decided to have a bit of fun with my macro lens.

Can anyone guess what it is? No prizes I'm afraid, but a yellow star to anyone who get's it right :-)))

Edit: 17th Feb @ 13:45.........Thank you to everyone who took part in this bit of fun. Well done to *ઇଓ* who guessed correctly that it is the synthetic fur around the hood of my wife's winter coat..!!
