A Wet and Muddy Horse

Captured this morning in a field adjacent to the Mill Pond at Langstone Harbour, Hampshire. Best viewed large!
My first outing with a camera for about a week. It was very windy and freezing cold, but good to get out in the fresh air..!!
If you have time, please check out the image in the PiP. Thanks.

Keith Burton club has replied to Günter Klaus clubGlad you like the photo and these lovely comments are always appreciated. The horses have access to 24/7 to a dry barn so they must be quite happy to be outside even in the wet and mud..!!
Enjoy the rest of you day...........best wishes, Keith.
Best TOZ
Keith Burton club has replied to TOZ clubWe are waiting for more exterior images..good sign Keith
Keith Burton club has replied to J.Garcia clubEnjoy the rest of the week.
But - if they are too long in a mud paddock it is not good for the health of a horse. No dry spot to lay down, mud and water is not good for the hooves...
On the other hand - a few hours out is better than all day in the stable... not only true for horses
:-))) Get well soon!!

I'm feeling pretty much OK now, except for a residual cough. Thank you!

Your first outing has been definitely rewarded, Keith! ;-)
Keith Burton club has replied to Adele clubKeith Burton club has replied to Leo W clubThe horses are actually well fed and looked after.........they have access to a nearly barn 24/7 if they feel the need to shelter.
Thanks for your visit and comments Leo.
The photo is delightful with the far horse almost being the opposite of the close one. Really glad you braved the cold!
