Uppark House and Copper Beech

Thank you kindly! The beech looks pretty nondescript in the winter, but my goodness, what a change in the spring! Glad you like it Roger.

Uppark is a lovely place to visit...........not huge, but it's fairly close to where I live and a good place to go when I don't have much time. It was almost destroyed a few years back by a fire, the restoration work has been awesome!

That day, I'd gone there with a friend to try and shoot some Red Kites and Kestrels, but failed miserably as, although there were quite a few around, they never came close enough to get a decent photo. Lovely to watch though.

Da hast du Recht lieber Keith,diese Rotbuche ist ein richtiger Hingucker in deiner schönen Aufnahme,schon mit ihrer Größe und dem Leuchten ist es der Hauptblickpunkt,aber auch das Haus ist ein sehr schönes Bauwerk :))
