The Raptackle, Bosham

The Raptackle, Bosham
The Raptackle is an 18th Century Grade II listed warehouse, built on red brick pillars on one side and faced with tarred weather-boarding. It was built to store and make nets and ropes for the local fishing industry. It was also the home of Bosham Sea School. Nowadays, it is used by the local sailing club.

Best viewed large, on black. Thank you.

I like the silvery sky and sea and the intense green! The tarred warehouse and the line of boats are eye catching.

An interesting scene and an unusual name. The sea looks a bit choppy in the harbour. It's obviously a very popular place .

Thanks Eunice. Bosham is very popular - besides being a beautiful place, it's steeped in history. There's some interesting stuff here: www.britainexpress.com/attractions.htm?attraction=3123 if you're interested.
