Head North

I just saw these geese flying north a few minutes ago just before the sun set. It's almost the end of January - it's about time they flew south for the winter! Why'd they wait so long?

I just realized they were flying north instead of south. That means they think winter is about over and they're headed back. We didn't have much of a winter here, so it's all screwy.
