This was an old Cadillac hearse they cut the top off of to make into a parade vehicle. They drive it every Autumn in the Carmi Corn Day parade. This is an older shot I took of it back on October 1st, 2015.

Wow, really impressive!! I've never seen such a long car, and I wouldn't like to park it in a Paris street;-)))

That is quite a stretch limo.

Actually, I don't think it's stretched at all. Cadillacs back then could be very long right out of the factory. For instance, compare it to this 1967 Cadillac Fleetwood that I used to have:

Super image of this eye-catching car. Interesting to see the Cadillac that you had as well.
It does seem enormous compared to what we see over here in the UK.

Yes, I know. I think that's pretty much how it is in the rest of the world as well. It's my opinion that most of the world has had to live in an oppressed condition for most of their lives, for centuries, that they see America with wide-open spaces, big cars and freedom of movement over large distances, and are somewhat jealous of our way of life. That's why so much of the world thinks of Americans as being "decadent." But, we fought hard for our way of life and those oppressed countries could have what we enjoy if they truly wanted it, and would fight hard enough for it. Our early pioneers died so that we may live today like we do. That's what it would probably take for citizens in any oppressed nation as well. To die for a chance at freedom.

I've even heard that some countries prohibit their citizens from even changing their cars in any way. Like adding more powerful engines, better exhausts or other upgrades. To me, that's UNAMERICAN!

Don't hate me because I enjoy more freedoms than you do, other countries.
