On the shore of the Dornoch Firth,

Finding time to visit the distillery of one of Scotland's main exports is a welcome distraction

On the Shore.

Very unassuming from the outside, this is the Glenmorangie Distillery, Tain. But interesting traditional methods are still used here. The aroma of single malt in the air is known as "The Angel's Share"

Dornoch Beach.

One of Dornoch's multiple beaches, this particular beach has miles of gently sloping golden sand. And some interesting rock formations as above at the northern end.

Oyster Catcher

The bird may take a little finding but the bright orange beak should give it away quite easily, Fence and harbour wall at Ardrishaig on Loch Gilp, Scotland. 16.9 format so a large view may be beneficial ! Will catch up on my return tomorrow, HFF and a great weekend
