On the River Bank
On the bank of the River Teith at Callander.
The river is out of view but flows immediately below the trees and fence,
It forms at the confluence of two tributaries in Callander (within the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park):The Eas Gobhain (from Loch Venachar)
The Garbh Uisge (also known as the River Leny, from Loch Lubnaig)
From there, it flows eastward approximately 36 miles (59 km) through towns like Callander, Doune, and Deanston, before joining the larger River Forth near Drip, northwest of Stirling, The river also supplies water to Deanston Distillery for whisky production.
HBM and a good week to all!

Roger (Grisly) club has replied to David G Johnson clubThe name likely derives from the Scots word "dreep" (or variant of English "drip"), meaning to drip or fall in drops, from Old English drēopan ("to drip"). This suggests a topographic origin, referring to a place with dripping water—such as a spring, wet ground, or small waterfall.
