Lazy River!
An image that shows the character of the Somerset levels, Swans Cruise the South Drain on a breezy September day, captured from an overhead road bridge,
A man made watercourse constructed between 1802 and 1806 with a length of 9.4 miles and is designed to drain excess water from the low lying levels, the water table is maintained by these drains and rivers aided by many pumping stations.
Somerset Levels have a temperate climate, which is generally wetter and milder than the rest of the country. The annual mean temperature is approximately 10 °C (50.0 °F). Seasonal temperature variation is less extreme than most of the United Kingdom because of the adjacent sea. (wikipedia)
