You have captured the drama and atmosphere of the storm perfectly here Roger. The silvery light in the sky below those dark clouds and on the water is like a gossamer veil across the scene. it softens the hills on the other side of the loch, but at the same time illuminates the wind blown surface of the water. Certainly should be enlarged to be fully appreciated.

Thank you for the terrific comments Doug, as Carol said hiding under the hatch of a carefully positioned car out of both wind and rain was the only option for this shot.

This is an phenomenally atmospheric image Roger.............the dramatic clouds, the sun's rays and the light on the water have all come together perfectly. There's also a great sense of movement and you can easily imagine the bigger waves starting to form.

A brilliant shot which certainly deserves to be viewed at the largest size!

Excellent, especially with the vedutas streaming through the gaps in the clouds! (I think veduta is the right term, it's certainy used in artwork!).

A difficult one to capture, more from steadying the camera in the gale force wind than anything else, thanks Andy
