Als ich 1983 die Isle of Skye bereiste, konnte ich beobachten wie ein Clan seine Schafe in eine solche Anlage zusammentrieb. Die Schafe leben ansonsten das ganze Jahr in der freien Natur. Hier werden die Schafe geschoren, bekommen eine Portion Medikamente eingetrichtert und erhalten anschließend eine farbliche Markierung, die die Schafe als Eigentum des Clans kennzeichnet. Den Rest des Jahres steht die Anlage leer.
Eine sehr schöne Aufnahme aus erhöhter Position, Roger!

En Auvergne il y a encore quelques murets de pierres sèches et j'aime beaucoup ce genre de paysages qui n'existent pas en Sologne !

I seem to have missed this one Roger............still, better late than never, especially as it's such a beautiful shot.

I love the lush green of the grass and the line of golden brown in the foreground. The old dry-stone walls are lovely and it looks like their might have been more of them in the past.

You will, I'm sure, not be surprised when I say it was raining when this was taken, hence the increased shades of green, thank you for the excellent comments Keith.
