this photo by John FitzGerald

Today (Victoria Day/Fête des Patriotes) is unofficially the start of summer in Canada, but here's a picture of spring.

Today is often known as May Two-Four in English Canada, to honour both Queen Victoria (whose birthday is on the 24th) and beer (a case of beer is called a two-four). Commonwealth heritage or what, eh?

Have a good day wherever you are.

Durn! I feel like I have to go get the dandelion digger! I bet they had a lot more!

Nice color scheme.

Thanks, Bob. Forget about the digger. You can't stop 'em. One day they'll take over. They may have already.

What a way to celebrate the start of summer John. Beautiful colours and detail and an excellent close up shot. I rather like the inclusion of the dandelion clocks - they remind me her of a pair of frog's eyes because of their placement.

This is really good. Best wishes Carol
