This image deserves music,its so fluid and wonderful,also its nice to remember his genius,every year i listen to this album once or twice and it never gets boring.
On the other hand i understand why you deicided to left music out,it works also without it in silence.
Tarkovsky very rarely put music in his movies but when he did..it was beautiful,his explanation was very simple,he said that he wants to make movies like you are watching real life,you dont have music playing around you all the time.

I like a well done piece of ICM..............and this is just that. Beautifully done John!

Thanks, Ulrich. I have a couple of photos of the Victoria and Albert Museum that are probably appropriate for the Exceptional Museims group -- thanks for the invitation.

More fun can be had in some artistic institutions photographing your fellow visitors or the architecture than the artworks. This is a really eye-catching impressionistic example.

Thanks, Phil. That's what I ended up doing at the Tate Modern. The part of the collection on display was almost completely uninspiring so I took long exposures of the people.

Now all I have to do is get back to Toronto, Laura. But I haven't been to the art gallery here, yet. Maybe I should organize that first. When I was growing up here I learned a lot from the old art gallery. Several major painters worked here in those days. I particularly liked Greg Curnoe. I'll have to see what they have of his early work. Thanks for the inspiration.

Oh good! I managed to go to our art museum a short bit ago - got to see Ansel Adam exhibit. What a delight. Hope going to the art gallery also inspires you photography!

Yep, this is great. The motion effect gives it a hallucinatory quality. We've become shadows of ourselves in the last year.
