Das nicht in Serie gegangene Konzeptcar Iosis Max von Ford hat u.a. ein Türkonzept, bei dem die vordere Tür normal an der A-Säule angeschlagen war und die hintere als Schiebetür an einem Parallelogrammsystem geführt wurde. Dabei entfiel die Mittelsäule. Die Sitze aus Kunstoff waren durch ihre Befestigung an der Mittelkonsole frei schwebend.
