In den ländlichen Gegenden des Erzgebirges gibt es noch die kleinen Vorgärten, die mit einem Zaun umgrenzt sind. Damit sich früher ,und teilweise heute noch, die Kleintierzucht nicht an den Gemüsebeeten laben konnte.
