Der Canal de Marseille dient der Großstadt als Trinkwasserkanal, der im 19. Jhd. gebaut wurde. Er ist ca. 80km lang und beginnt an der Durance. Um die Hügel hier bei Coudoux zu passieren, sind viele Brücken und Tunnel für ihn erbaut worden.
