Wehe, wenn sie losgelassen, dann kann es schon drunter und drüber gehen :)) Woe betide if they’re let loose—things can get pretty chaotic then :)) Malheur à qui les laisse s'échapper : ça peut vite devenir le chaos total :))

Pip1-4: Nahaufnahmen des Käfer Päärchen The common red soldier beetle (*Rhagonycha fulva*)—often referred to as the "garden soldier beetle"—is a very common species belonging to the soldier beetle family (Cantharidae). From June to August, these beetles are frequently found in meadows, along forest edges, and in gardens, often on umbelliferous plants (such as wild carrot or hogweed). They are predatory, feeding on small insects (e.g., aphids), but also consume nectar and pollen. In high summer, they are often seen sitting in pairs on flowers. They are considered highly beneficial in the garden, as both the adults and their larvae contribute to biological pest control.

Ich mag solche kleinen Pilze immer als Motive und grade der Waldboden hat auch für mich für einen schönen, harmonischen Hintergrund gesorgt :)) Pip1-5: Nahaufnahmen des Pilzes I always like using small mushrooms like these as subjects, and the forest floor in particular provided a lovely, harmonious background for me :)) Pics 1–5: Close-ups of the mushroom J'aime beaucoup ce genre de petits champignons comme sujets, et le sol de la forêt a offert un arrière-plan magnifique et harmonieux :)) Pip1-5 : Gros plans du champignon

France - Évreux, town hall

L'hôtel de ville d'Évreux (town hall of Évreux) is a stately late 19th-century building. The current town hall was the vision of local leaders and was realized through the generous bequest of deputy mayor Olivier Delhomme. Évreux - including the town hall - suffered severe destruction during the Second World War air raids of June 1940, when large parts of the city burned for nearly a week. Most of the city center, including civic spaces around the municipal sector, was redesigned and rebuilt in the post-war decades. The town hall stands on the Place du Général-De-Gaulle, which ‘naturally’ features a statue of this well-known French general.

France - Giverny, Maison & jardins Claude Monet

The house in Giverny where Claude Monet lived for 43 years (1883–1926) was originally an abandoned ruin. With a keen eye for colour and detail, Monet transformed it into a colourful palace. At the beginning, the house called “House of the Cider-Press”, was much smaller. Monet enlarged it on both sides. The pink color of the walls and the green of the shutters was chosen by Monet. He also added a gallery in front of the house, a pergola covered with climbing roses, and grew a virginia creeper on the façade. On the ground floor of the house are the blue reading room, the yellow dining room and Monet’s studio. Everything has been restored to its original condition down to the last detail, complete with furniture, pottery and books from that era. The dining room features a unique collection of Japanese prints.
