Some years, we don't have any or just little snow in Northern Germany. 2012 was such a year, in 2014 we didn't even have frost ... but, with the ever-present wind it was quite refreshing ...

we too have had strange winters ... more rain than snow ... and most
certainly wind ... but having said that ... it can change and surprise us ...
and although no snow we did see temperatures dip at night very very low ...
and now ... where has the summer gone ;-) feels more like autumn is
early ;-))
