Koblenz Ehrenbreitstein Fortress (#0601)

Something I do remember of Koblenz, and remember being impressed by -- but have the geography all wrong in my memory. I have a view taken from close to this same location in 1969 (first link below) and remember being impressed by the size of the fortress. But, in my memory, I always had this as on the same side of the Rhine as the German Corner with the German Corner monument on the opposite side of the Mosel. The second picture linked below is of Koblenz from the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress, taken in about 1969.
