Bagby Lake McClure CA-49 bridge (#0598)
Taken from an overlook on CA-49, the bridge over the Lake McClure reservoir at the site of former town of Bagby. The view here is looking north and the vast majority of the reservoir is about 6 miles west, over the mountains on the left side of the picture. Though the reservoir looks low from this perspective, that's because runoff from the mountains has barely started; the reservoir is at 79% of what is the average for the time that the photo was taken (see nearby photo). (Note that this picture was taken 2 days after the other photos of this reservoir.)
