CA-1 Big Creek bridge (3685a)
Big Creek bridge on CA-1, built in 1933. It's disheartening to see how we once built bridges that were graceful and photogenic, but now don't.

I like these shots in the rain. Every picture I've ever seen has been on a sunny day.
Don Barrett (aka DBs… club has replied to ClintI've driven the Morro Bay/Monterey stretch many times (can't come up with a count, but more than 10) and in both directions. You see it very differently going north vs south, and you see it much better when you can find a slot with much little tourist traffic (e.g., mid-winter). I notice something different every time.
