SF Russian Hill Francisco Reservoir (1395)
This large space on Russian Hill is the abandoned Francisco Reservoir. Per various websites the reservoir was built in the mid-1800's and made obsolete in the 1940's. There was a wooden (and rotting) roof over the reservoir until 2013. Discussions regarding what to do with the open space appear to have begun in earnest in the mid-2000's, but still are not resolved.
