Newman (1721)
Surprising design on the steeple of the Catholic church in Newman. This photo doesn't capture it very well, but the steeple's architecture reminded me of Frank Lloyd Wright's designs, which seemed out-of-place for a church in small rural farm town in the Central Valley.

This does look very Prairie Style to me. I could imagine this in certain suburban neighborhoods where Wright's influence was popular.
