Geronimo monument, AZ 3153a

Along AZ-80, a surprising, and not very well-maintained, monument to Geronimo. It is in the middle of what seemed to be nowhere.

Per this site listed below, the monument was built with funding from the Civil Works Adminisration, a New Deal agency: www.library.arizona.edu/contentdm/newdeal/brochure.pdf
