What has historically been one of the 'gayest' locations in Pacific Heights is Lafayette Park. Within that park, the center of 'gay life' was this relatively small piece of land that used to be regularly packed with gay men lying in the sun and cruising for sex. This picture was taken on a cold and gray day, but in the past that wouldn't have stopped men from relaxing in the park. A local source said that the park was much less cruisy in recent years.
