Manhattan NV (1957)
Manhattan, Nevada. Largely abandoned former mining town. Looking west from the east end of town.
Per various websites, the town basically came into existence in about 1905 and was really active with mining only until some time in the 1910's. Considering the various buildings and equipment, it seems like the town was still relatively occupied into the 1940's, possibly with people working at other nearby mines.

This looks like a neat little place. I love coming across spots like this.
