Friday 9 November 2012 (0905) – East Yorkshire Motor Services (trading as Scarborough & District) 355 (YX57 BXC), an Alexander Dennis Enviro200 bodied Dart new in 2007, seen in Valley Bridge Road in Scarborough. To the left of this junction, in Somerset Terrace, is where the Valley Bridge Bus Station of United was and to the right, in Westwood, is where the bus station of East Yorkshire was. High on the hill in the background is the war memorial obelisk on Oliver's Mount.

Friday 9 November 2012 (0902) – East Yorkshire Motor Services (trading as Scarborough & District) 354 (YX57 BXB), an Alexander Dennis Enviro200 bodied Dart, seen turning from Westborough into Valley Bridge Road. The former Odeon cinema, now the Stephen Joseph Theatre at the corner of Westborough and Northway, provides a backcloth. The art deco building was constructed during the 1930s.

It is an Alexander ALX400 bodied Volvo B7TL that was new in June 2017 and wears East Yorkshire’s coaching livery. In June 2018 after thirty one years of independent ownership East Yorkshire became a subsidiary of the Go-Ahead Group.

Friday 3 May 2019 (1029) – East Yorkshire 200 SK52 URW) racing along Alfred Gelder Street towards Hull city centre on the 1003 service 56 from Longhill Estate to the Interchange. . It is an Alexander ALX400 bodied Volvo B7TL that was new in June 2017 and wears East Yorkshire’s coaching livery. In June 2018 after thirty one years of independent ownership East Yorkshire became a subsidiary of the Go-Ahead Group.

Friday 3 May 2019 (1029) – East Yorkshire 200 SK52 URW) seen in Alfred Gelder Street, Hull with the magnificent Guildhall providing the backcloth. It is an Alexander ALX400 bodied Volvo B7TL that was new in June 2017 and wears East Yorkshire’s coaching livery. In June 2018 after thirty one years of independent ownership East Yorkshire became a subsidiary of the Go-Ahead Group.

Thursday 2 May 2019 (1326) – East Yorkshire 371 (YX10 EYW), a Wight Eclipse bodied Volvo B7RLE new in May 2010, seen near Paragon Interchange in Hull. It is allocated to Hull garage. In June 2018 after thirty one years of independent ownership East Yorkshire became a subsidiary of the Go-Ahead Group. Changes were starting to happen at the time of my visit. The livery style on this bus is of the old order.

Changes were starting to happen at the time of my visit. A new livery style was being introduced as carried by 385 (YX14 HDZ), a MCV Evolution bodied Volvo B7RLE new in May 2014, which was seen near Paragon Interchange in Hull. It is allocated to Hull garage.

Thursday 2 May 2019 (1327) – East Yorkshire 495 (YX04 JVY), a Transbus built Plaxton Pointer/Dennis Dart new in May 2004, seen near Paragon Interchange in Hull. It is allocated to Hull garage and I believe is the last of the type now in service. (Thanks to Dan Dearing). In June 2018 after thirty one years of independent ownership East Yorkshire became a subsidiary of the Go-Ahead Group. Changes were starting to happen at the time of my visit. The livery style on this bus is of the old order.

Thursday 2 May 2019 (1500) – East Yorkshire 502 (MX12 CFF), an Alexander Dennis Enviro200 that had been new to Ace Travel of Aintree (756) in March 2012, which was seen turning from Ferensway to Spencer Street in Hull. It is allocated to Beverley. In June 2018 after thirty one years of independent ownership East Yorkshire became a subsidiary of the Go-Ahead Group.

Thursday 2 May 2019 (1450) – In June 2018 after thirty one years of independent ownership East Yorkshire became a subsidiary of the Go-Ahead Group. Changes were starting to happen at the time of my visit. A new livery style was being introduced as carried by 503 (MX12 CFG), an Alexander Dennis Enviro200 that had been new to Ace Travel of Aintree (757) in March 2012, which was seen at Beverley Road/Ferensway in Hull. It is allocated to Beverley.

Thursday 2 May 2019 (1721) – The two dominant bus operators in the city of Kingston-upon-Hull (Hull) are Stagecoach in Hull and East Yorkshire. In June 2018 after thirty one years of independent ownership East Yorkshire became a subsidiary of the Go-Ahead Group and changes were starting to happen at the time of my visit. Swinging into Paragon Interchange is East Yorkshire 700 (YX05 EOT), a Wright Eclipse Gemini bodied Volvo B7TL new in June 2005, which now wears the new Go-Ahead inspired livery. On the left is 809 (BF67 GHO), a Volvo BTL with low height (10.4m) Egyptian built MCV eVoSeti bodywork new in September 2017, which wears the pre-Go-Ahead company livery. In front of that is a Stagecoach in Hull Alexander ALX400 bodied vehicle.

Friday 3 May 2019 (1348) – East Yorkshire 706 (YX55 DHN) seen in Carr Lane, Hull alongside the domed building of the Hull Maritime Museum. It is a Wright Eclipse Gemini bodied Volvo B7TL new in September 2005 that was working the 1300 service 155 from Elloughton where EY has a garage and where this bus is allocated. The photograph was taken from Queen’s Gardens. The gardens were created on the area once occupied by the Queen’s Dock that was infilled in the early 20th century. Back then this view would have only been possible from a boat.
