Friday 7 August 2026 (1124) - Ambassador Travel 303 (BV22 VSZ), a Caetano Levante III bodied Scania K410 new in August 2022, seen at Fiveways, Barton Mills when working the 0930 National Express service 491 from Great Yarmouth to London (Victoria Coach Station). The service had also called at Norwich Bus Station (1005-1015) and would then call at Cambridge (Parkside) at 1140-1150 arriving at Victoria at 1350. Only four stops in total.

Friday 7 August 2026 (1052) – I didn’t identify the current operator of FJ60 EHW as it passed through Fiveways, Barton Mills. It is a Jonckheere JSV bodied Volvo B13RT that had been new to Birmingham International in October 2010 (later registered B2 BHX) where it carried local football teams like Birmingham City, Walsall, Burton Albion etc. The lining out and lettering, minus a large shield that was featured in the gap midships, are from the time it spent in the fleet of Nottingham based Sharpes Coaches (later registered 7 OWX) where it carried Mansfield Town and Grimsby Town football teams. It was then operated by LA Travel (Midlands) Limited, Tamworth which trades as South Staffs Coach Hire (where it was registered FSV 428).

UPDATE! : I got a better picture of this coach in the same spot twelve days later but still haven't identified it. See PiP. Friday 7 August 2026 (1044) – Leons Coaches, Stafford LE26 EON, a Mercedes-Benz Tourismo new in April 2026, seen at Fiveways, Barton Mills. From the company’s website I would say this was the homeward day of a five day ‘Norfolk Railways and Broads’ tour based at the Dunston Hall Hotel, Norwich. I didn’t get a front shot because it passed by whilst I was distracted getting a photo of the coach on the right (Prospect Coaches, Lye, West Midlands PR24 DOR, an Irizar i6S Efficient bodied Scania K410 new in May 2024).

Saturday 8 August 2026 (0921) - Three Star Coaches of Luton TC16 TSC, an Irizar i6 bodied Scania K410 new in June 2016, seen heading eastbound on the A11 at Fiveways, Barton Mills.

Saturday 8 August 2026 (0922) – Hearns Coaches YD23 FOK, a Yutong YT12 new in July 2023, was seen at Fiveways, Barton Mills as it worked the 0700 Flixbus service 007 from London (Victoria Coach Station) to Norwich. Hearns began working two round trips each day on this service from Thursday 18 June: 0700 Victoria-Stratford-Thetford-Norwich (arriving 1055) 1210 Norwich-Thetford-Stratford (arriving 1500) 1540 Stratford- Thetford-Norwich (arriving 1840) 1955 Norwich-Thetford-Stratford-Victoria (arriving 2320) These trips were additional to the one round trip worked by Transport Made Simple/Central Connect/Simonds (0900 from Norwich/1600 from Victoria Coach Station).

Saturday 8 August 2026 (1013) - Transport Made Simple/Central Connect/Simonds YG26 VMK, a Yutong GT12 new in July 2026, seen at Fiveways, Barton Mills as it worked the 0905 Flixbus service 007 from Norwich to London (Victoria Coach Station). In June 2024 Vectare Limited was rebranded as Transport Made Simple (TMS), the rebranding brought together the different businesses owned by Vectare at the time notably Central Connect and also Simonds of Botesdale Limited of Diss which had been acquired in April 2024.
