Friday 7 August 2026 (1044) – Prospect Coaches, Lye, West Midlands PR24 DOR, an Irizar i6S Efficient bodied Scania K410 new in May 2024, seen at Fiveways, Barton Mills. The coach took a break at the Shell Service Area before continuing on its way at about 1110. The livery is for the JG Travel Group, a Cheltenham based holiday company which owns the Just Go, National Holidays, Omega and Albion brands.

Friday 17 July 2026 (0947) – Mulleys Fiveways BT13 YWF seen at Fiveways, Barton Mills when working the 0920 service 355 from Bury St. Edmunds to Mildenhall and Beck Row. It is an MCV eVolution bodied Volvo B7RLE acquired from Simonds of Botesdale Limited, Diss in March 2025 (along with BT13 YWE). The pair were new in August 2013.

Friday 7 August 2026 (1018) – Stephensons of Essex 491 (YX63 GXV), an Alexander Dennis (ADL) Enviro200 new to Nottingham City Transport (391) in September 2013, seen at Fiveways, Barton Mills when working the 0950 service 16 from West Suffolk Hospital/Bury St. Edmunds to Mildenhall and Newmarket.

Both were on seven day tours based at Great Yarmouth the format of which comprises a Sunday journey to and a Saturday journey from the resort. Excursions are made on three of the other days (to Norwich & Wroxham; to Lowestoft & Southwold; and to Bury St. Edmunds & Bressingham. The other two days are ‘days of leisure’. A167 (BV26 HTG), which I think was the coach I saw at Fiveways, Barton Mills on the previous Saturday 1 August, was new in May 2026. The window label showed tour number 263SC. A140 (BF23 CFG), new in March 2023, showed tour number 263NE. The Alfa website includes a fleet list showing a total of sixty Mercedes-Benz Tourismos and just one solitary Irizar i6S Efficient.
