Finglands 1745 (N745 ANE) in Manchester – 5 Mar 2000 (433-15A)

Sunday 5 March 2000 (approx. 1120) – Finglands was founded in the early 1900s. Based at Rusholme in South Manchester the company was one of the pioneer coach operators working a Manchester-London coach service.

Following deregulation a number of bus services were introduced in their native city. In 1992 the business was acquired by East Yorkshire Motor Services. EYMS sold the coaching part of the business to Bullocks Coaches in 2013 and the bus service operation to First soon after.

Northern Counties bodied Volvo Olympian 1745 (N745 ANE) new January 1996 was seen in St. Peter’s Square, Manchester. The Midland Hotel dominates the background, the Central Library is on the right.
