First Manchester 3113 (B113 SJA) in Rochdale – 4 Mar 2000 (433-13A)

Saturday 4 March 2000 (approx. 1615) – First Manchester 3113 (B113 SJA), a Northern Counties bodied Leyland Olympian new to GMPTE in March 1985, in Smith Street, Rochdale heading for Bolton on service 400.

This scene is quite different today. The bus station and multi-storey car park on the left have been replaced with new shops. The building in the background (right) was the former Yelloway office block that had originally been owned by Kelsall & Kemp and used as a warehouse. That was also demolished and replaced by the One Riverside Council Offices. The roadway behind the bus is now the Metrolink tram terminus.
