Saturday 13 July 1991 (1830) – Ambassador Travel 102 (F102 CCL), a Plaxton Paramount bodied Volvo B10M new in March 1989, had just arrived at King Street, Mildenhall when working the 1630 National Express service 095 from London (Victoria) to Cromer.

Self advertising messages were a feature on these coaches for a time.

A foreign lady meets the driver to ask for information as to how she can make a journey to London. She had arrived in Mildenhall earlier in the day and found that the people she was supposed to be visiting were away from home. She was to be unlucky regarding a coach from here at this time of day so she hurriedly went by taxi to Newmarket to catch the 1900 service 599 from there.
