Ambassador Travel 108 (G108 HNG) at King Street, Mildenhall – May 1994 (221-32)

A Saturday in May 1994 (1150) – This sighting led me to think that Premier Travel Services had perhaps been having vehicle problems earlier in the day with their coach which should have worked the 0830 Great Yarmouth to Taunton National Express service 347.

Running one hour behind schedule when seen at King Street, Mildenhall at 1150 is Ambassador Travel 108 (G108 HNG), a Plaxton Paramount bodied Volvo B10M new in August 1989, which was covering the trip. Whilst Ambassador is a regular National Express contractor on services to London from East Anglia the company hadn’t worked scheduled runs on this cross country service for a number of years.
Two of my younger daughter’s friends are seen paying the driver for day tickets to Cambridge. Their outing shortened by one hour today.
