A young bus enthusiast and Stagecoach United Counties buses at Showbus, Duxford – 25 Sep 1994 (240-18A)

Sunday 25 September 1994 – Showbus Rally, Duxford. I spotted this young chap logging the numbers of all the buses he saw at the rally using a large clipboard which he had a bit of trouble controlling at times! Reminding me of myself many years earlier I snapped his photograph and wondered if he was still going to be interested in buses like me years later. He will be in his forties now.

In the background are three Stagecoach United Counties buses of what was typical group stock. Two Alexander RL bodied Volvo Olympians (632 (F632 MSL) and 621 (J621 GCR)) flank an Alexander Dash bodied Volvo B6-50 (409 (L409 JBD).
