Thursday 2 March 2023 (0829) – Stagecoach East Midlands operates many of the local bus services in the city of Lincoln including service 8 from the city centre to the large Ermine residential area to the north of the city.

Alexander Dennis (ADL) Enviro300D 27791 (FX12 BLJ) was seen on the corner of Newport and Church Lane when operating from Ermine to the city centre on service 8. It was new in May 2012 to Stagecoach owned Cleveland Transit and wears one of the livery layouts introduced in 2022.

The building directly behind the bus carries the words ‘City Fire Engine’ engraved in the stonework and was the original base for the city’s fire and police departments.
