Bus Interchange, Stevenage - 25 Sep 2022 (P1130359)

Sunday 25 September 2022 (1037) – Stevenage Bus Interchange opened on Sunday 26 June 2022 replacing the bus station at Town Square/Danestrete which is being redeveloped as a ‘multi-purpose event space’.

The Interchange, built on what had been the Leisure Centre long stay car park, comprises a covered building with ten bus loading bays waiting area. Interior facilities include a food outlet, toilet facilities and security offices.

A number of Arriva Herts and Essex vehicles were present – more than what I am used to seeing on a Sunday morning where I live!
