First Eastern Counties 37022 (YJ06 XKL) and 37569 (AU58 ECN) in Great Yarmouth - 29 Mar 2022 (P1110058)

Tuesday 29 March 2022 (1028) – First Eastern Counties Buses Limited is now marketing itself as Coastal Reds in the Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft area. The First Group corporate livery is being phased out and a new style red based livery introduced, this being mainly for the town service operations. There are also branded liveries for two key groups of services, Coastlink (X1, X2, X11 and X22) and Coastal Clipper (1 and 1A).

Two Wright Eclipse Gemini bodied Volvos in different liveries are seen in this view taken in Caister Road close to the Great Yarmouth bus depot.

Left is Coastal Reds liveried 37022 (YJ06 XKL), a Volvo B7TL new in May 2006 to First West Yorkshire, which was returning out of service to the depot.

Right is Coastal Clipper liveried 37569 (AU58 ECN), a Volvo B9TL new in October 2008, working Coastal Clipper service 1A from Lowestoft to Martham.
