GM Buses South 3150 (B150 XNA) in Rochdale – 15 Apr 1995 (260-04)

Easter Saturday 15 April 1995 – GM Buses South 3150 (B150 XNA) seen in Rochdale bus station.
It is a Northern Counties bodied Leyland Olympian new in July 1985 to the Greater Manchester PTE which carries the ‘HE’ garage code for Hyde Road, Manchester.

The PTE formed GM Buses in 1986 as an arms length company. In late 1993 GM Buses was then split to become two companies, GM Buses North and GM Buses South.

In April 1994 the two companies were sold to their respective managements but in due course GM Buses South was sold to the Stagecoach Group in February 1996 and GM Buses North was sold to First Group in March 1996.
