Wednesday 30 December 1992 – A frosty morning in Ely around 0830 with three local vehicles that had been parked overnight.

Storey’s Coaches of Littleport RNY 309Y, a Plaxton Paramount bodied Leyland Tiger new in March 1983 to Hill’s of Tredegar, is flanked by to Bedfords operated by Ely based Grey’s Coaches. Quite a number of vehicles in the Grey’s fleet carry dateless ‘ESU’ registrations. Furthest from the camera is Plaxton Supreme bodied ESU 369 and on the right is Duple Dominant bodied ESU 389.
