Universitybus P664 PNM and P668 PNM at Wall Hall UH Campus – 21 Mar 1997 (349-7A)

Friday 21 March 1997 – Two of the Wright Crusader bodied Dennis Dart SLFs new Universitybus in late 1996 zoom away from the Wall Hall Campus of the University of Hertfordshire just after 1600.

P664 PNM, bound for Watford Junction Station, is leading with P668 PNM, bound for Welwyn Garden City, following. The spire of Aldenham village church is in the distance above the leading bus.

Universitybus was established by the University of Hertfordshire in 1992 as a way of providing links for students travelling between the various separate Campus sites. The services were opened up to the general public and the operation grew to become what has become today. The company was rebranded Uno in 2005 and has operating bases at Hatfield, Northampton and Cranfield.
