Beestons Coaches R345 LGH at Mulleys, Ixworth - 3 Jul 2009 (DSCN3244)

Friday 3 July 2009 (1952) – Owned by Beestons Coaches although seen in the Ixworth yard of Mulleys Motorways, former Go-Ahead R345 LGH new in Nov 1997 to Go-Ahead London owned London Central or London General (#NV145). In the Go-Ahead London training bus livery.

Originally a dual door bus as can be seen by the unpainted panels which form the conversion work to a single door bus. During its time in the training school it had carried registration number 545 CLT reverted to that it had when new before being sold. The contact telephone number was contained in a yellow banner which covered most of the upper deck side windows. This had been removed leaving a small part on the bodywork only.
