Friday 10 August 2016 (1026) – Stephensons of Essex 462 (YX11 CTO), an Alexander Dennis (ADL) Enviro200 new in June 2011, seen leaving Mildenhall bus station when working the 0950 Bury St. Edmunds to Newmarket service 16. Mulleys Motorways (YN54 NKX), a Scania OmniCity new to Nottingham City Transport (#222) in December 2004, working service 355 from Beck Row to Bury St. Edmunds.

Mildenhall was facing traffic delays for some weeks to temporary traffic lights forming part of the work in laying new fibre optic cables. Service 16 left four minutes late and service 355 left ten minutes late as that service had had to pass through the temporary traffic lights twice.

I travelled on both these buses today taking the Mulleys service to Bury St. Edmunds and returning on the Stephensons service at 1150.
