DSCF4327 On board Mulleys YN54 NKX approaching Fiveways, Barton Mills - 10 Aug 2018

Friday 10 August 2016 (1034) – On board Mulleys Motorways YN54 NKX on the approach to Fiveways Roundabout, Barton Mills. Traffic was flowing reasonably alright at the time although the bus had suffered delays due to temporary traffic lights in Mildenhall that formed part of the work in laying new fibre optic cables. The service has to pass through the temporary traffic lights (in Kingsway near the Maid’s Head) on three occasions.

In addition to safety signage remaining from its Nottingham days there is a display for the diverse range of day excursions the company operates.

Just visible through the left windscreen is Whippet Coaches NX24 (BV67 JZH), a Caetano Levante bodied Scania K440 new in January 2018, that had left Mildenhall at 1030 when working the 0855 National Express service 727 from Norwich (UEA) to Gatwick.
