Rule's Coaches LIB 1611 (SFV 202P) - 27 Sep 1995

Rule's Coaches LIB 1611 (SFV 202P) - 27 Sep 1995
Wednesday 27 September 1995 (approx. 1406) – On board Rule’s Coaches LIB 1611 working the afternoon return trip of their market day service from Bury St. Edmunds to Boxford. Near the village of Milden the coach encountered a tractor with a wide attachment. The tractor driver very obligingly reversed all the way back to the telephone box that can be seen in the background. The coach was a Plaxton Supreme bodied Leyland Leopard new to National Travel (North West) as SFV 202P in May 1976. After arrival in Boxford I looked at Rule’s garage before travelling to Sudbury on Eastern Counties service 90 (worked by VR243). From Sudbury I travelled to Bures on Chambers G760 VRT finally returning to Bury St. Edmunds on that same bus after spending some time looking round the Chambers garage and site.
