Beeston’s Coaches TPD 121X at Bury St. Edmunds – 23 Nov 1999

Beeston’s Coaches TPD 121X at Bury St. Edmunds – 23 Nov 1999
Tuesday 23 November 1999 – Beeston’s (Hadleigh) Limited, of the Suffolk Hadleigh, TPD 121X seen at Ram Meadow, Bury St. Edmunds. It was a Roe bodied Leyland Olympian that had been new to London Country Bus Services as their LR21 in June 1982. When LCBS was split up in 1986 it passed to the newly created London Country (South West).

Note the curved shape of the top edge of the lower deck windscreen which was specified by LCBS to match those fitted to its Park Royal bodied Leyland Atlanteans. The livery is that of City of Oxford.
