Cambridge Coach Services F884 RFP at Heathrow - 4 Sep 1992

Friday 4 September 1992 - Cambridge Coach Services 388 (F884 RFP), a Plaxton Paramount 3500 bodied Volvo B10M, seen at Heathrow Central bus and coach station when working the 0845 hrs service 78 from Gatwick to Cambridge. The company began naming its coaches after many of the famous Cambridge Colleges with the crest of the named college carried on both front corner panels, that of Robinson College is just visible. This coach was previously operated by Bleanch’s Coaches Limited of Hetton-le-Hole, County Durham - the contractor for National Express service 311 between Newcastle-upon-Tyne and Coventry. I believe this coach and sister F885 RFP carried National Express livery for that service.
