Cambridge Coach Services line up at Kings Hedges - 18 Aug 1992
Wednesday 18 August 1992 (0700 hrs) - A study in rear ends of various Cambridge Coach Services vehicles parked at Kings Hedges Road on the outskirts of Cambridge after CCS returned to the site from Waterbeach. The land had been acquired by Premier Travel with the acquisition of the Percival’s Motors (Cambridge) business and Premier developed the site as a new operating base around 1984 christening it ‘Premier Park’. From left to right: G98 RGG (a Plaxton Paramount 3500 bodied Volvo B10M new to Parks of Hamilton in 1990/1991); WEB 409T (a Plaxton Supreme bodied AEC Reliance new to Premier Travel Services in 1979); E362 NEG (a Plaxton Paramount 3200 bodied Volvo B10M new to Premier Travel Services in 1988); D350 KVE (a Van Hool Alizee bodied Volvo B10M new to Premier Travel Services in 1987 fitted with wheelchair facilities); and G96 RGG (similar to G98 RGG).
